Each topic would then be discussed during one round-table session run by a chairperson. The chairperson and co-chairperson, in agreement with the organizers, will evaluate the proposals of papers sent to us and select the future participants.

All accepted papers will be available on the official web-site of the conference and will be published before the conference in the Conference Book. During the conference only the central theses of each paper will be delivered (maximum four minutes per each). We expect papers (in Ms Word or rtf format) no longer than 3000 words or 21000 characters (including footnotes and bibliography). Articles can also include, in addition, musical examples, illustrations and tables. Although the language of the conference will be English, we also accept papers in Italian, German and French.

Conference Calendarium

  1. The deadline for the first call applications (just topics of papers) - 31st of January 2007
  2. The deadline for participants (except the chairpersons and co-chairpersons) for submitting the main theses of their papers - 15th of September 2007
  3. The deadline for the evaluation process of the submitted proposals, confirming the lists of the participants in each round-table session and advertising them in the Internet - 30th December 2007
  4. The deadline for submitting the full texts of the papers by all participants - 31st of March 2008
  5. The deadline for the conference fee payment - 1st August 2008
  6. The deadline for printing the Conference Book - 1st September 2008

The conference fee is 50 Euro plus ca 400-700 Euro for accommodation and meals; we do not refund the travel costs.
